Happy Labor Day!

We had a wonderful time camping this Labor Day Weekend 2008! This is one of the many traditions and we enjoy it every time! We get to see friends who also love to camp and have been camping as long as we have (even when we were kids!). Now we can share this tradition with our kids. So here are some very precious photos from this weekend at Somerset Beach Campground.

Our friends Paul, Elisa and Zackary are in the photos too. Paul has a sail boat on the lake. So I have one of his boat. The lake has a wonderful calmness about it at dusk. So some of the pictures you can see the reflection of the trees etc.

Brady got stung by an insect and had a little reaction to it, but so far, it should be ok. Cody loved the swimming. He will demonstrate it! He is doing really good at swimming with his life jacket. Brady is also starting to be a fish in the water too. He got to wear Cody's life jacket and seemed to tolerate it ok. He preferred to grab a fist full of sand and eat it! Cody must have caught a cold and now has a little runny nose. We even had a pancake breakfast that was delicious!

The weather was perfect and we had a good time. Looking forward to the next time we go camping. Not sure if it will be this year or not. At any rate, it will be at Somerset since we are going to store the camper there for the winter!

Cody's highlights: "Swimming" - as he does his swimming motions! He also likes watching the "honey dipper" which is pulled by a tractor to clean out the dump tanks! The camp also has a backhoe that crushes the trash that was something of great interest. I am sure it has other jobs it does, but for Cody, a backhoe or tractor is a really cool thing to watch.

Time to go to bed. Until next time! Hope everyone enjoys going back to school! September is here!
