Merry Christmas Eve!

Dawn the shepherd, has snow all over her! This was just after the Live Nativity. What a special times!

Well here it is now Christmas Eve and I am sooooo excited! I have been baking all day(can you smell the cinnamon and banana bread....) so far and watching the boys play. Ken is working and hopefully will get off early to make it home for the Christmas eve service. I gave them haircuts yesterday since I felt they were looking too bushy! So I trimmed them up. I love Christmas Eve because I get to do all the wrapping, which has not been done yet.... so I am up most of the night doing it. We got to the children's Christmas eve service and I love seeing all the children all dressed up. The best part, singing Happy Birthday to Jesus, which makes me cry every time! I also love Silent Night another favorite.

Cody and I went Christmas Caroling with the Stephen Ministry group a few weeks ago. It was so special seeing the elderly people we visited and they loved seeing Cody too! I hope to continue this tradition with him and Brady as they get older!

We all got new pajamas for christmas so watch for Christmas picture later!

Another special tradition at our church is the Live Nativity. We have been in it for at least as long as we have been in Eaton Rapids, about 6 years. I love it. This year with all the snow and cold weather, we had to cancel it 2 nights in a row. Finally last night, I was able to go and be apart of it. I was a shepherd. It was snowing, and I just take the time to reflect on the year and celebrate my relationship with God and the wonderful meaning of Christmas! The boys stayed home this year to keep them inside and healthy! Hope it works. I have one picture of me and will post it if I can. You can look through the archives to see last years Nativity, and Brady being the baby Jesus!

So I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and here are our wishes for you! Enjoy the video and pictures of these adorable santa's helpers! Merry Christmas from the Tomlin's!!!!!
