He's my toddler! So proud and handsome on his 2nd birthday!

Well, He officially turned 2 today! I had some really special moments that I wish to share... the first being... I remember the day he was born and the labor and delivery.. Ken does too, and we are so thankful to be here and not there right now! I am glad it is now over, even though I am glad I went through it and I feel it was a life experience that nothing like it compares.

I am also so proud of Brady today... He actually can drink from a straw and did it without any problems or liquid coming out!!! THIS IS HUGE!!! I just wanted to cry when I saw him sucking on the straw and not having any problems with it. The bottle will soon be totally gone! Yeah!!!! He gets a sippy cup and has been doing really well with that. Today I just thought I would work with him on the straw since this is supposed to be a better and more preferred method for drinking. It works his oral muscles and is better for the teeth etc. He did it without any real instruction!! Way to go Brady!

He was just fun to watch today. I sat and watched him play and interact with things. He is becoming more vocal and making sounds that actually sound like words. He has great expression on his face. My favorite is his little "yes" sound and I can not describe it in writing so you will just have to see for yourself sometime! He still does not like "no" and yes we have to tell him that many times. He is a climber and wants to stand on chairs and climb on to the table or the next level! His balance is getting stronger and he sits straight up and looks adorable. He crosses his legs and I just love the look. He is so proud of himself when he does something good and bad... gets that look in his eye... then does it... yeah we all know that look!

His favorite foods... chips, pumpkin or banana muffins or anything of the like, crackers, and milk. At least 3 teeth are coming in all at once. He has his hands or some other object in his mouth almost constantly!

He loved his cupcake for his birthday. I made a bear cake and we all got to blow the candles out. He likes feeding himself and then I make sure he gets a bath afterwards since he likes to chew on the spoon and use his hands instead.

We did go out the other night to Chuck E. Cheese's and celebrated his birthday as a family. It was a lot of fun. The games and rides were a big hit. I will post those pictures another time.

Brady, you truly are amazing and I am so blessed to be your mom, I love you to the moon and back! Happy 2nd Birthday. Love always your mom, dad, and big brother.
