Happy 30 months old Cody!

Cody is now 30 months old, as of today!!! We are so happy to announce that he is finally healthy after a long week of sickness. He was showing his true 2 1/2 year old self today. Since he was feeling better, he just wanted to test the waters. He did not take a nap and did not fall asleep until around 9:30 or almost 10pm. So it was a long day. I know he had some cabin fever as well. I hope it warms up a little so we can take him outside.

Things Cody loves these days:
* Candy, mostly chocolate but he has found the hidden stash of resees!
* Playing with his tractors and cars, and vehicles
* Climbing with his stool to get things off the counter
* Running and being chased
* Playing outside or helping with the snow blowing
* Singing "Wheels on the Bus" and most other songs
* Dancing around doing the Cody dance!
* Eating snacks and eating off of our plates, especially if it is something interesting and new
* Being around daddy or mommy and sometimes Brady but if we all doing something together, he makes sure to say who is participating
* Doing crafts for a few moments
* Reading books, and I hope this continues throughout his life
* Watching videos and knows how to put it in the DVD player, and almost knows how to get the remote to work!
* Testing the limits like any two year old
* He likes to have "quiz" time where we ask him all kinds of questions, and usually he knows the answer and sometimes surprises us that he does know it!
* He loves to say "cheese" for the camera and then likes to see it on the camera. He also will sit and watch the screensaver or the pictures I have going, and he knows all the people or events and will talk about it out loud! Amazing for his age.

Be watching for the big "Mimi Send off" - we did finally get rid of the mimi or pacifier. It will be good for another post soon.

Cody we love you very much and are very proud of who you are becoming. May you look back and know the frustrations of parenting you will pay off! Keep learning, keep being you and find new adventures to explore everyday. You are a smart boy and you know so much already. Keep up the good work. We love you! Happy 30 month birthday.
