Just wanted to share a few photos of our Wild West Adventure... on Father's day 2008. I decided that we needed a holiday to just stay around our area and enjoy some outdoors and fun times. I found out about this Wild West adventure from a friend and thought this would be perfect. It was! We had a great time learning about Lewis & Clark and Little Bear and here were some of the highlights:*Panning for Gold nuggets, and fighting off the outlaw trying to take our gold
*Putting mom and dad in jail
*Washing clothes the old fashioned way with a wash board and ringer
*Going to the Kid saloon
*Shooting a gun
*Petting a cute baby cow name Clifford and some really soft brand new bunnies, and goats
*Going on a horse drawn wagon ride to the Indian village to hear stories about Little Bear, shooting a bow and arrow, and obstacle course
*Playing some rodeo games
*Taking a cool train ride around several times
*Riding a pony named "Fudgy"
*Riding a bucking bull, wearing a cowboy hat and checking out the cute cowgirls
*Eating at the chuck wagon cookout
*And the most favorite of all....Riding the little pedal pusher TRACTORS (the blue one of course!)
Check out their website for more information and other adventures too at http://www.northforkoutback.com
We had a beautiful day and the weather was perfect too. WE love our dad! Love, Cody and Brady
