Today we decided to enjoy the fall season and what comes in the fall???? Cider Mill, Apples, pumpkins and don't forget the donuts! We visited the Old Country Mill in Charlotte, MI. with some friends Dan,Heather and Josiah. The weather was good but strange, but that did not stop everyone from having a great time. So enjoy the fun we had and just try and smell the cider and donuts! We took a wagon ride through the apple orchard. Then we got a couple of pumpkins for the porch. Cody already wanted to carve them, and even tried with his little plastic knife.
We had a wonderful weekend just being around home. What a good feeling and we were finished with all the chores (laundry and cleaning on friday) so we got to relax the rest of the weekend. We also had some friends over from the Down syndrome group for a playgroup on Sat. morning. That was fun too.
This week Ken will be in Detroit on business and I will be making the final preparations for the Buddy Walk that takes place next weekend! I am excited and looking forward to the day and all the planning that we have done to make this year the best yet. (Even though it will be our first time).
