Well, as time flies, I have to say, Happy 11 th Anniversay to us! WE celebrated our anniversary by going out with the boys to the mall. Our plan was to go to Texas Road house for a steak dinner. The wait was going to be too long, on a friday night and so we decided to go to the mall. We ate at Sabaro's instead. Not bad, but not steak! Since last year for our anniversary we were in the hospital with Brady. This year, I felt that it was time to get some thing special. I had reminded Ken that the day was coming, and today it was! I gave him hints of what to get me. During dinner I decided that what better place to discuss getting some kind of jewelry!!!! HINT, HINT... he finally agreed and so after dinner we went and looked for a special ring. I really wanted to get something that resembles our family. I wanted all of our birthstones. However, to make a long storys short. I ended up with a new aquamarine ring with some very small diamonds on the side of the main stone. The budget basically was what lead me to choose something of the lesser choice. I get to go pick it up this week! I am very thankful for the years we have been together. It does not matter the material items and the fact I have to almost drag Ken to the store and make him see that I really do appreciate a little special treatment once in a while. We did not even exchange cards or no flowers! But that is Ken for you. I have come to realize, I have to buy my own flowers if I want any, and say they are from him! He is paying for everything these days, so I guess I need to be more thankful!

We did end up at Texas Road House another night and that was a wonderful dinner as a family. We even did a little toast, Cody loves to do "cheers", as we taught him that on New's Years Eve. The steak was awesome! Must better than the steak dinner we had last year that cost us over $100! This was a special time this year as we have each other and our health, and the boys are healthy too!
