Happy March 2009!

It is now March and we are happy to say spring is on the way, right? Well, if not then we will just have to wait for it.

This weekend was fun and filled with much science and hands on learning. Friday, I took the boys (little ones) with my parents to the Hand on Museum in Ann Arbor. We had a great time. Cody loved the ambulance and making a souvenir penny with grandma. We also had fun playing in the toddler room with the firetruck and water table. Then we had a wonderful turkey pie for dinner at grandma/pa's house and sundaes for desert.

Saturday we ventured in to the Detroit Science Center. We met Uncle Dave and Aunt Amy, Max, Devon, and Uncle Phil and David there too. We all enjoyed ourselves in the many exhibits and going into the Star Trek world (well at least Ken and the other family went in there). I did not wish to see that. So Cody, Brady and Amy and I went to see the Deep Sea IMAX movie. Brady was not too sure about it at first with the flashing lights and fast music, but once the movie started, he seemed to calm down and enjoy the undersea adventure, as did the rest of us! It was like laying on the bottom of the ocean or coral reef and watching the fish and sea creatures swim right on us!

Then we stayed the night at Dave and Amy's house. The night started out well, however, at 1 am Cody woke with a cry as he was scared and came in to sleep with us... then Brady woke up, and so we were all awake. Needless to say, the night was sleepless for the most part and we made it home and have been relaxing the rest of the day!

This week we take Brady back to Grand Rapids for a check up and see how the test results came out from a few weeks ago. So far he is doing well and hopefully we get a healthy check! Brady will be 23 months old!!! So here we are starting the month out and soon he will be 2!!! Stay tuned for his updates too!

Cody has another cold and seems to not let it get him down. He has been a little more irriatable but managable! So let's pray for his recovery to good health.

I ask for prayers for our friend Zackary.. he will be 2 in June. However, he has an infection and caused his face to swell. Let's pray for his recovery and that the antibotic treatment will do it's job with no other side effects.

Have a happy March... and do not forget to get your Shamrock shakes at McDonald's! I have already had a couple! They are my favorite! YUM!
