Home Sweet Home

We are safely home and loving being back in MI. We loved VA, and the southern hospitality we were shown. However, there is no place like home. It was great to come home after a long 26 days of being in a hotel. Then driving 14+ hours to get home. We made it home around 3am Sat.

Funny thing Cody said when we got home and he was wide awake, since he fell asleep for the last 5hours of the drive... "No one cleaned our house!" Well, it was actually clean all except the kitchen floor that did not get vacuumed or mopped before we left and it had lots of dirt on the floor. I just had to laugh. He was so excited that everyday the housekeeping ladies would stop by and clean the room, while we were out. So he would come in the room and say "they cleaned our room, yah!" Then go and jump on the freshly made bed and pull the covers off and play with the pillows. Oh well, it looked nice for a moment anyway.

So now we are unpacking, doing laundry and getting settled back here at home. Brady will hopefully get his cast off in the next week or so. The doctor said that it is healing and almost wanted to take the cast off before we left. I just asked that we leave it on until we got home. He is moving like a bear again and loved being at home today playing and climbing on everything, going up and down the stairs. Brady loves playing with Cody and they played really well with all their toys today and also were glad to be home.

All is going well, and we really had a wonderful time in VA. I am looking forward to sharing my photo slide show with you soon. I think I took over 300 photos. Plus, I want to thank all of the new people we met and made friends with. Not to mention congrats to all of Ken's coworkers for making it through the month of training! I look forward to seeing them next time around.

Well, off to get some sleep, as everyone else is sound asleep too. Happy end of June!
