Happy Father's day

Well this week is over and we are now in the last leg of the time here in Virginia. I am looking forward to coming home. I have enjoyed being here and being on vacation. I

We have had a fun week and weekend. Saturday we decided to stay close by instead of going to DC, like we had thought about. So we found a local waterpark and went there for the day. IT was so fun and we had a blast! Got lots of sun, and some sun burn too. But it was worth it. We met a family who also has a son with Down syndrome and we quickly became friends. Too bad we did not meet them eariler in our trip.

Today to celebrate Father's day, we asked Ken what he wanted to do. We had breakfast in the resturant in the hotel. Then Ken wanted to go to the Musuem of the Confederacy. We walked and there since it was a few blocks from the hotel. It was a great walk to see the historical buildings in downtown Richmond. We met some homeless people along the way it was interesting. The musuem was interesting and I learned more about the civil war. There is alot of history in this area.

Then we walked back and just relaxed the rest of the day as we were all tired. Except Brady decided not to nap nor did Cody. I did, but then Ken got a really bad headache. Overall it was a good day.

I wanted to wish all the Father's out there a very Happy day and hope you were able to spend it with your family. I best be signing off.
