Well, I am now classified as a SAHM. So that means I have more time to clean, get the house in order, and make wonderful meals. Well, I must say so far, not much has happened other than making sure the boys are fed, and I take a nap with them. The last 2 days, we have all slept about 2-3 hours in the afternoon. I feel a little guilty, that is a little! I guess it is nice being able to rest and unwind. Like a friend told me who is also a SAHM, that I must have needed it!
So to say the least, I know my house needs to be cleaned and I need to pick up the pace and get going on the household things, my boys are enjoying having me home. I am trying to come up with a structure time and at least just a pattern everyday of activities to stimulate the senses/a 2 1/2 year old who loves to keep me on the forefront of being busy. I also have some "field" trips planned that will help us get out and explore new things. I was able to get several errands done on friday last week and the boys were amazing! They hung in there and we even got to enjoy the park for about an hour.
Now I am supposed to be typing a few reports that I need to finish and I just want to play (or blog and catch up with my other blogs etc,) When you get a 2 hour nap, I have a little more energy to stay up late to do some things I like too.
I must say I have been enjoying American Idol. In the past I was not too crazy about it. This time I have tried to make it the family time around the tv. Well, Cody was watching last week when Paula was wearing a very tight fitting corsid like outfit and made the comment "She not wearing a shirt!" Ken and I looked at each other and laughed. Then this week he made the comment "She's wearing a shirt this time." How observant he is when it comes to beauty! Oh, man I am in for a interesting road as a mother of a very cute and very boy like Cody!!!! Even Brady has that smile that seems to melt a woman's heart! PLEASE HELP!
I guess this time I do not have any pictures to post, since i Have not taken any pictures in a while. Then when I did have my camera at our nieces' bowling birthday party, I forgot to put the batteries in and was not able to capture the fun event. I will have to get the photos from those who took the pictures.
On a side note... Brady made it through his 12 month well child check up with flying colors! He is 19 almost 20 lbs, and 30 in long. He is doing well, and does not have to go back until 15 months, unless of course we need to. This is awesome. He hardly cried when he got 3 shots. Then we had to go and have some blood work done, well, he was awesome and they got it no problem! I made sure I went to the Lab place who has been working with him since he was born. The lady's name is Dory (just like on Nemo) and she is good and I hope to keep going to her if he needs blood drawn.
Well, I think I have said it all for now. I am going to try and finish one more work thing before I head to bed. Thanks for reading.

Hello dear friend! Being a stay-at-home mom has its own challenges. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that you are no longer working. It just takes on other forms. I'm sure if you feel you have too much free time on your hands, the Lord will show you what to do! I'm so glad Brady's one year check-up went well. Blessings, Hope
