Just wanted to update you on whats been happening with Braders as we call him. We went to the pulmologist last week in Grand Rapids. She was very helpful and wanted to get some additional testing done to rule out any other problems. Well we have had some good news from all the tests. He does not have CF, or any allergies, blood work is all normal. The only slight problem we have to work on is that he does aspirate with thin liquids. So to help with that we are now thickening his liquids. He should out grow this as he gets stronger and more muscle tone in his neck/throat etc. We will keep an eye on it and in 6 months have him rechecked again. We have to watch this so he does not get pneumonia or other problems with lungs and breathing. We also have another medication for his asthma if it acts up too.
We are so thankful for his "good" health and hopefully he will continue to get stronger with each new day! Thanks for all the prayers and support.
